Toyota subsidiary Lexus Ltd on Wednesday released the LC 500h Limited Edition model car. The starting price is Rs 2.15 crore. The car was designed by Air Race pilot Yoshihide Muroya in partnership with Lexus engineers. PB Venugopal, President, India, hopes that customers will appreciate this model, which is inspired by aviation design. These Lexus cars are sold in 90 countries around the world.
The car focuses on a refined aerodynamic performance to elevate the sense of driving. The Lexus team worked in different ways to create efficiencies for Muroya’s aircraft, from refining the grip design of the control column to maximising aerodynamics efficiencies using testing data learned on Lexus automobiles, the company said in a statement.
The LC500h limited edition is available in three colours: White Nova Glass Flake, Sonic Silver, and Black. The interiors are adorned with Black Alcantara trimmed seats that feature Saddle Tan accents and seat belts. The steering wheel, shift lever and door trims are also accented in Black Alcantara trim.
A carbon-fibre scuff plate integrates the LC silhouette and lettering that reads “LC Limited Edition” & “LEXUS”. Further, it sports a 21-inch forged wheel, exclusive to the LC Limited Edition. The new LC limited edition is inspired by a partnership between air race pilot Yoshihide Muroya and Lexus engineers.
