Petrol and diesel prices have risen again in the country. Prices, which have been rising since May 4, are showing drops for consumers for the eighth time since Friday. On Friday, petrol prices were hiked by 29 paise and diesel by 34 paise. With the latest hike, Petrol prices crosses Rs 100 mark in some places. In Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra and Rajasthan, petrol price has crossed Rs 100 per liter.
In Mumbai, Petrol prices crosses Rs 100 mark in some places. In the national capital, petrol is priced at Rs 92.34 per liter while diesel is priced at Rs 82.95 per liter. Petrol price has been hiked by Rs 1.94 and diesel by Rs 2.22 since April 4.
In Mumbai, petrol is priced at Rs 98.65 and diesel at Rs 90.11
In Chennai, petrol is priced at Rs 94.09 and Rs 87.81.
In Kolkata, it was Rs 92.44 to Rs 85.79 per liter
In Amravati, petrol is priced at Rs. 98.49, diesel price is Rs. 92.39
In Hyderabad, petrol is priced at Rs. 95.97, diesel price is Rs. 43
States where petrol exceeds Rs 100:
In the Parbhani region of Maharashtra, petrol is priced at Rs 101 per liter, in Rewa in Madhya Pradesh at Rs 102.69 per liter and in Ganganagar in Rajasthan at Rs 103.28 per liter.
Petrol price on Wednesday soared to over Rs100-mark per litre in Rajasthan – the highest level India has ever seen – as fuel prices were hiked for the ninth day in a row. Petrol price was raised by 25 paise per litre and diesel by 25 paise, according to a price notification of state-owned fuel retailers.
