MUMBAI: Domestic stock markets started trading lower on Thursday. At 9.26 am, the Sensex had gained 161 points at 36,899 and the Nifty traded 13 points lower at 10,905. The market is responding with caution as SEBI changes several regulations. The new rules do not require at least 20 investors in FPIs.
Wednesday’s Wall Street gains could also boost domestic markets. The Dow Jones were up 0.93 and the S&P 500 index was up 0.82% and the Nasdaq 0.9%.
